At Brightbridge Executive Search, we are pleased to have supported Leading Edge Only with the appointment of Matt Ziff as Interim Head of Sales, at an important point in the company’s commercial development.
Leading Edge Only is a UK-based innovation platform that connects corporates with external innovators to solve defined business challenges. Operating a two-sided marketplace model, the business has an established product, active corporate clients, and a clear commercial framework.
Following the departure of its previous sales lead, the business identified the need for experienced, hands-on leadership to stabilise sales activity, bring structure to the pipeline, and drive consistent execution.
Given the immediacy of the requirement, an interim solution was the clear priority. Waiting three to four months to secure a permanent hire was not a viable option, and we were able to deliver a fully executed search process—from initial brief to candidate start—within a two-week timeframe.
We were delighted to support this process and to secure Matt Ziff for the role.
Matt brings a strong track record in enterprise SaaS and platform businesses, with particular expertise in pipeline conversion, sales discipline, and operating within lean, growth-stage environments. He has been repeatedly engaged to bring clarity and momentum to commercial functions—improving pipeline quality, increasing forecast accuracy, and converting opportunities into signed revenue within defined timeframes.
His experience in selling into complex corporate environments, combined with a hands-on approach to deal execution, made him an excellent fit for Leading Edge Only at this stage.
In his role as Interim Head of Sales, Matt will focus on:
Converting existing pipeline opportunities into signed contracts
Implementing structured pipeline management and forecast discipline
Strengthening engagement across the existing client base
Driving consistent, measurable sales activity
