Brightbridge Search is delighted to have supported Tyndall Investment Management with the appointment of Chris Dimbylow as Non-Executive Director.

Tyndall is an independent investment management business with offices in London and York, providing active funds, investment solutions for financial planners and tailored portfolios for private clients. Its proposition is deliberately differentiated from an increasingly consolidated wealth management market, combining high-conviction active investment management with a highly personalised approach to client service.

As Tyndall continues to grow, Brightbridge was asked to identify an experienced financial services leader who could bring additional regulatory, risk and governance expertise to the Board, while understanding the importance of preserving the entrepreneurial culture and agility of an independent investment business.

Chris brings more than 25 years' experience across wealth management, investment management, banking and financial services, with particular expertise in risk, compliance and regulatory governance.

His career has included senior compliance and risk roles with AJ Bell, Interactive Investor and ABRDN Financial Planning, Fisher Investments Europe, Barclays and Brown Shipley, giving him extensive experience of working with Boards and executive teams in highly regulated financial services businesses.

Chris spent almost six years as Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at Fisher Investments Europe, where he held executive responsibility for compliance, risk and financial crime oversight. His work included leading the business through significant regulatory remediation, developing enterprise risk frameworks and working extensively with UK and European regulators.

Earlier in his career, Chris was Head of Compliance and Legal at Brown Shipley, where his responsibilities included regulatory risk, financial crime, board and committee participation and regulatory due diligence on wealth management acquisitions.

That combination of deep wealth management experience, regulatory expertise and practical board-level judgement was particularly relevant to Tyndall. Chris understands the regulatory environment in which the business operates, but also brings the commercial perspective required to ensure that strong governance supports rather than inhibits growth.

His appointment strengthens Tyndall's Board as the business continues to develop its private client, partnerships and funds propositions while maintaining the independence and investment-led culture on which the firm has been built.

Brightbridge is delighted to have brought Chris and Tyndall together and we look forward to following the next stage of the firm's development.
