In 2021 Brightbridge Search were retained by the award winning kitchen appliance design business Kaelo. Kaelo are designing beautiful wine chillers that integrate directly into the worksurfaces of your kitchen.
With Dyson veteran Sir Richard Needham chairing the board and former Dyson CTO Neil Harmsworth supporting engineering and development this start up has been making waves in the kitchen sector.
Following an intensive search Brightbridge identified refrigeration industry veteran Dave Yearsley, formerly of Haier and Brita to lead the business as CEO.
In 2022 Brightbridge were again retained, this time to find a Head of Product Design. Carr has knowledge in a range of different industries from technical products to fashion and homewares. Some of his experience includes working for international organisations such as Braun, P&G and Vivienne Westwood. His work has been recognised internationally with work featured in the likes of Wallpaper, Hypebeast, New York Times and Hodinkee, as well as the permanent exhibitions at both the Design Museum and MoMA.
Brightbridge decided to re-invest their appointment fees in the most recent funding round and are excited to be shareholders in this exciting start up.
