D-RISK - Non-Executive Chairman

DRISK are solving the big problems faced by autonomous vehicles using AI and machine learning. We were commissioned by the Foresight Williams Fund during their most recent investment round to identify a non-executive chairman to join the board. We appointed machine learning entrepreneur Tony Stockham. One of perhaps a handful of world-class non-executive directors who can also code!

Kaelo - CEO & Head of Product Design

Brightbridge were retained by the angel backers of Kaelo in 2021 to identify a CEO to lead the business. Following and intensive search industry veteran Dave Yearsley was appointed CEO and shortly after we also appointed Michael Carr as Head of Product Design. We were so impressed with the product and the team we decided to reinvest our recruitment fees into the business at their most recent funding round.

Freeflow - Multiple c-suite appointments

Brightbridge were retained by the investors shortly after Freeflow's first funding round to find a managing director. We appointed former downhill mountain bike world champion David Hemming to run the business. Brightbridge has subsequently supported the business with additional c-suite appointments including a CFO and Chief Engineer.

Copptech - Chairman & CFO

Brightbridge supported Copptech and Foresight Group during their recent investment round Copptech re-headquartered the business from Chile to the UK with the support of Foresight Group. Brightbridge appointed former Microban CEO Jeff Halliwell as Chairman and Peter McKee as CFO.


The Foresight Group backed the award winning specialist IT Services business Retail Assist with a multi-million pound growth capital investment to double the size of the business. Following that investment Frank was retained by Retail Assist to identify a Non-Executive Chairman and following an accelerated and intensive search appointed the private equity and tech veteran Bill Joss to the board.

23.5 DEGREES - Chairman

Connection Capital were exploring a growth capital investment in what has become the Starbucks super-franchise, 23.5 Degrees. Frank was asked to identify a Chairman to work alongside Connection to advise before the deal and join the board at the point of transaction. Mike Tait joined the business having previously led the secondary buyout of high end coffee vending business Coffee Nation and the subsequent sale to Costa.

NYLACAST - Chairman

Caird Capital approached Frank to identify a Chairman to join the board of their specialist materials and automotive components business Nylacast. Frank appointed former Better Capital Operating Partner Peter Williamson to the board and the business has subsequently seen an impressive increase in value year on year.


Frank was asked by Foresight Group to identify an MBI team to invest in the workforce management business Protean Software. Frank put the former divisional MD of Sage UK, Bob Anderson, and experienced private equity and SAAS Chairman, Stephen Edwards, together who went on to write the plan and take the business through IC and secure the deal for Foresight Group.
